This recipe is inspired by Medical Medium’s banana milk recipe, but a friend of mine showed me how he swaps the water for coconut water, and wow—it was a game-changer. Now, whenever we have coconut water on hand, it’s our go-to for “Banana Milk.” Lately, it’s been our favorite late-night snack. Plus, it’s perfect for those healing from chronic illness, as it’s dairy-free and won’t feed any pathogens! The banana and raw honey provide liver-loving glucose, while coconut water delivers next-level hydration. I think you’ll really love this one!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1 large banana
- 1–2 tbsp raw honey
- 4–5 ice cubes
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes:
- You can use water instead of coconut water if needed.
- For an extra treat, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or non-alcoholic vanilla extract.
Yield 20 oz
